I have a confession to make: I am really behind on blogging. Right, when I say behind I mean, hmmm, 2011 was an interesting year. Things came up. The wedding below (deep breath) was from the summer. But things really did always seem to come up. Like tonight. I could’ve told my 11 year old daughter, no, I will not put your hair in 20 braids so it will be all cute and curly in the morning, because I’m BLOGGING. That sounds so, selfish? She asked me to braid her hair so I backed away from the computer and did it. And then I was asked to do a few other mom-related things. In the last few months I’ve been trying to take advantage of these requests because when my oldest son turned 18 in the fall I got a huge wake up call: “They’re untying the apron strings”. So I stopped placing my children in the back seat while editing and blogging got shotgun. Technically the blog is for me. Clients have their photos. Blogging is gravy for all of us to enjoy. Ok, I feel better now. So when you look at this post and wonder why the heck the grapevines are a lush green when it’s January and we’re having a hard freeze tonight (yikes!) it’s because it was in fact summer when Julie & Brandon tied the knot. I have to admit, in the dead of winter it’s kind of fun to look back to summer when we were annoyed by the heat.
Murrieta’s Well is a lovely location in the Livermore valley, great food. http://www.murrietaswell.com/

Her brother drove the ladies to Murrieta’s in a classic Chevy Bel Air…great car.
